Obituary

Raquel passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones & all that she loved on June 26 in Arlington, Mass. She was a devoted Fiancee to Paul her soulmate, a loving sister, daughter, aunt, and a genuine friend, manager & role model.

My little sister was my soul confidant, my childrens': Matthew & Machaela's best friend, and with the most generous heart, touched every single person's life that she met in a genuine way. She unceasingly amazed me of her beauty & style, her kindness, intelligence, strength & faith. She was loved by everyone.

Raquel is survived by sister, Rowena & her husband Ed; her niece & Nephew: Machaela & Matthew. Her mom & stepfather Connie & Louis Poulin; her Fiancee, Paul & niece Elara and family & relatives in the Philippines. Preceded by her father, Rogelio V. Gajonera.

My sincerest condolences in the loss of your beautiful daughter, sister, aunt and fiance. Raquel was an amazing, beautiful woman both inside and out. She had the most amazing style; I looked forward to seeing her on a regular basis just to see what she was styling for the day. I shall always remember her and will miss her very much. I am honored to have met her and worked with her and her staff. Sharon

Raquel certainly was/is a beautiful soul! She had no need to go out of her way to help me or even converse me, but I'll never forget her showing to the same gym that I was at and started to work out with me. She made a wonderful, lasting impact on my life for many reason. Cheers to you Raquel for your beauty, INSIDE and out! Love, Johnny

Raquel, you brightened and touched so many people's lives. You were one of the most selfless, upbeat people I have ever met. You walked into a room and it lit up with your beauty and you never just walked by anyone you always gave them a smile or a hug. There are not too many peole like you honey.... You will truly be missed by so many of us. I love you and miss you..

My prayers and condolences goes out to Raquel's family and friends. She was a remarkable woman. Very courageous. A Manager I looked up to and aspired to be. She was strong willed and will be missed by many. Even though she is not here her presence will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Raquel. Missed but never forgotten.

The sadness of this news is deeply heartfelt. Indeed, Raquel will be remembered not only as a colleague but a friend and confidante to many. She graced us with her beauty, fashion and moreover, her kind spirit and willingness to help on any occasion. She will be truly missed. My prayers to the Lord's peace and comfort for family and friends during this time of bereavement.

My sincere condolences,
Ann S. Smith
