Keating, James F. Jr. of Arlington on December 4, 2018. Beloved husband of Margaret (Murphy) and loving father of Sandra P. Keating and Corinne M. Clark and her husband Scott M. Clark. Beloved grandfather of Sammy and Charlie Keating and Hailey and Bailey Clark. Late WWII US Army Veteran. He was a resident of Arlington for 64 years. Jim graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and was an accomplished Mechanical Engineer who specialized in the development of Nuclear Power Plants throughout the country and traveled worldwide. He worked for Stone and Webster, United Engineers and Raytheon Corporation. Following his retirement he worked as an executive consultant for Milne Associates. James had many friends, interests and loves including; reading, gardening and golfing with his friends and daughters. He spent winters in Siesta Key and Sarasota, Florida and in addition he spent many summers in Martha’s Vineyard and loved the ocean. He adored Sunday dinners with his beloved family and pups. The family would like to acknowledge the fine care he received at Meadow Green Nursing Home; the staff made his life happy and pleasant, thank you! Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Monday December 10th at 10:00 am in St. Agnes Church. Private burial will take place in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
