Bernadette and Family, I send my most sincere condolences. Gene was a kind and generous man and will always have a special place in my heart. He welcomed me to Boston, gave me a job during college and always treated me, not as an employee, but a friend. I have very fond memories of working at the gas station, 1978-1982, and laughing with Gene regularly. I will keep you all in my prayers during this difficult time. Danny Sheehy
